During the second workshop for tile making, I decided to change the blue and yellow painted colours which I initially placed on the scale tile. I put what I believe was an opaque yellow colour over the entire tile hoping that it was have a similar finish to fig 3. as seen above. However the glaze did not appear very opaque and blended strangely with the colours underneath.


I quite like the effect for a tile in general, however the colours are far too dull and muted for my colour scheme and I think that the tile design no longer represents my artists ideas or methods and colour/shape used in her work so I wont be using this tile in the final design unless I change the colouring.
