I have recently been considering how I can engage multiple spaces around the site and decided to do a series of engaging showcases instead of just one. After talking to Robert I have began to consider how to activate the inside and outside of the glasshouses, and considering activating height and the ceiling space. I began to consi

der image mapping and moving image projection, and how I could create or showcase an abstract representation of my narrative.
I am trying to showcase a narrative, and educate the public on deterioration and decline in nature. I hope to emphasise the state of the environment and the decline of our planets health, Xenia has shown me an exhibition in Wellington called the 'SEMICONDUCTOR: THE TECHNOLOGICAL SUBLIME".
After exploring this more, and looking into how to engage a space with image mapping, and sound engagement, I realised that this 'semiconductor' exhibition was exactly what I aimed to do, It had a similar visual and metaphorical purpose to ideas I had previously sketched and discussed with Robert.
I planned out this installation as a visual 3D mapped series of moving images, these would be related to deterioration and specifically deterioration of the environment and climate change. The imagery will be hard to develop as I want it to be very abstract, and have considered how I can perhaps create the imagery from a sound track
