My designated outdoor space was designed with a modern spacious vibe in mind, I intended to utilise plenty of raised spaces, as I wanted to raise space which receive a lot of sunlight (e.g spaces near windows and door), hence the use of this circular raised platform, as well as the extension of the interior platform out to the edge of the deck.

I chose to utilise my bespoke wall installations in the exterior space as I wanted the outdoors to reflect what was occurring internally. I chose to position a wall and ceiling which mirrors the shape of the raised platform, this is very close to the interior, and is experienced similarly to the feeling internally, where the height compressed and condensed, gradually as you extend outward away from the interior the space becomes more open, and and less cosy.

Keeping with the theme of reflective surfaces, I have utilised mirror surfaces in furniture and also in large wall installations half way out from the house. These are created from the same reflective green glass which is used in the bathroom, I plan for these to be used as planter walls, however this is dependant on the occupier, and could be used for a number of things, but are equally as effective if left bare, as they are an installation in themselves. 📷📷📷
