Morph

My final furniture item is an intended bench, but explores a contradiction between the glass and concrete.

Visually the glass appears to be melting and morphing gently across the edge of the concrete slab, however where the glass meets the concrete, the concrete is fractured and broken as if from harsh impact.

The visual aspect of this bench is most similarly related to a rain drop or dew. I wanted to use the warping, drooping liquid-like shape similar to what I had previously used in the lamp design because I find it adds a lot of interest to the design, especially because of the liquid like form but crafted from glass (a solid fragile material).
