Living Rooms

I developed my idea further ahead of just furniture ideas, as opposed to randomly placing furniture objects around the gardens, I considered my narrative further and how I could implement a contract/juxtaposition to the site.

Therefore I designed these harsh, artificial rooms which highly contrast with the fernery where I have chosen to place them. The rooms have 2 walls, so are partly open to the site, however they are brightly lit with bold false colourings and feel rather sterile.

I have chosen to create these "display cabinet" rooms in order to enforce a showroom vibe, within the gardens, showing the harsh contrast with our natural world.
