The bathroom may well be my favourite space in the house. I have thoughtfully designed the form of the additions in this space, from the platform, the ovular mirror, the rounded floating sink and the linear shelving. this room is very inspired by Gretchen’s ovular paintings, this is especially evident in all furnishings.

I have used a highly reflective glossy, green glass, the walls and floors combined are shaped in a circular form, and from an isometric perspective would form a full circle, however appear as quarter circles on their own, The reflective surface reflects the bold orange and its glow from the bedroom across from it. And the striking yellow identifies the spaces as elevated.

I have left my bathroom completely open to the rest of the house, the intended occupier is a solitary person, and I wanted them to be able to experience the house freely, when considering how I react to a space when home alone, I feel a lot more freedom to do as I please, so by allowing the space to be entirely occupied by them I am encouraging them to behave unrestricted and liberated.📷📷
